About Me

Hello! I am EMDR Certified and absolutely love to work with clients on this journey. I see clients in-person in San Diego or via telehealth. I possess expertise in trauma informed care and recovery, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), gender identity, substance use, attachment, identity development, sexual orientation, and developing manageable approaches to tough circumstances. My approach to therapy is transparent, compassionate, connective, and interactive. I love to work with people from all walks of life… AND I am deeply committed to uplifting, protecting, supporting, and offering therapy to gender expansive, transgender, and nonbinary individuals. I write letters for clients seeking gender affirming medical intervention per WPATH standards. Through my practice, I hope to create positive change in how our society views trauma and adverse life experiences. I want it to become an everyday life skill to break generational trauma cycles. I’m committed to practicing continuous dialog in my community and in my work with individuals who are fighting to break the cycle in their own lives.
