About Me
With over a decade of experience in the mental health field since 2010, I have primarily focused my practice on working with adults in various stages of development. My work predominantly takes place within community mental health clinics, where I employ a range of therapeutic modalities and approaches tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. I am particularly passionate about utilizing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, for which I am a certified therapist and currently undergoing training to become an EMDRIA-approved consultant. In addition to EMDR, I integrate evidence-based techniques such as trauma-focused therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Brainspotting, and mindfulness practices into my work. Cultural competence and diversity are central to my practice, as evidenced by my extensive experience working with gender and sexual minorities and individuals from diverse ethnic backgrounds. As a bilingual and bicultural practitioner, I am fluent in Spanish and strive to provide culturally sensitive services that honor the unique identities and experiences of each client.
