About Me
My therapeutically work concerns an independent practice for adult patients.
After many years of professional work I continue to find it fascinating and inspiring to see how clients solve their problems in creative ways and develop themselves personally.
As a Europe EMDR practitioner I work a lot with EMDR - therapy and the Flash Technique with adult patients with PTSD or ACE based symptoms / complaints. As well do I work generalized with patients with a complaints / symptoms like depression, and anxiety disorders. Also do I work with preverbal trauma when indicated.
Education & Experience
As an Europe EMDR practitioner I am a member of Belgium EMDR and the Dutch EMDR Association (VEN), I work independently in my private practice.
My basis of doing psychotherapy is my ECP (European Certificate of Psychotherapy) registration by the European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP), of which the NAP ( Dutch Association of Psychotherapy) is the Dutch representative.
Next to EMDR - therapy I have been trained and accredited in hypnotherapy and Heart Assisted Therapy (HAT). To a lesser extent I work sometimes with Brainspotting.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I have experience as a member of a complaints committee, board member, and treasurer in the NGVH, a former psycho therapeutic and professional association.
