Pamela McCormick, LMHC, NCC
About Me
Pam engages her work from the foundational belief that within every living organism, whether in nature or in humans, exists a natural propensity toward healing and growth. She utilizes a client centered approach to join her clients in exploring early childhood relationships, adverse or traumatic experiences, and current circumstances that propel or hinder healing and growth. Trained in EMDR, Pam is an advocate for anyone feeling trapped under the weight of trauma, grief or addiction. Her experiences living overseas in Haiti have provided unique insight into how environmental adversity, racial trauma, and systematic oppression can reorder an individual’s priorities toward survival while simultaneously creating tremendous international resources, strength and resilience. Pam values racial and cultural diversity and approaches all clients with empathy, curiosity and respect. She firmly believes that deep, lasting healing is possible for anyone willing to take the journey.
