About Me
Are you struggling with anxiety or having panic attacks? Do you notice tightness in your chest or have difficulty breathing in certain situations? Are you feeling overwhelmed when dealing with life’s challenges? You have the ability to find your inner peace and regain control of life’s ups and downs. It is possible to understand yourself more and to have more control of how you react to your emotions. You can surf the waves of life with more ease and be able to notice and appreciate your innate gifts and strengths. As a former sufferer of anxiety, I know what it’s like to over-analyze, be avoidant, and expect worse case scenarios. I can help you to understand yourself better and feel more empowered. I offer effective therapies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Clinical Hypnosis, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). We can work through your anxieties, stuck parts, and traumas to reveal your amazing true self.
Education & Experience
I've enjoyed my career very much as a therapist for several years now. Prior to my therapy career, I worked on the business side of large healthcare corporations. I understand the stresses of working in corporate environments and the need for work-life balance. Since becoming a therapist, I've never looked back. I'm grateful for listening to my intuition. I have my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Illinois Wesleyan University, an MS in Health Systems Management from Rush University, and an MSW in Social Work from University of Illinois at Chicago.
