About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maine, and have been working with children, adults and families 30 years. I have been certified in EMDR since 2019 and utilize it regularly in my work with adults and children. In addition to my clinical license, I am a Register Play Therapist-Supervisor. I obtained my Master of Education in Counseling Psychology from University of Houston in 1994. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings; I was a clinician at The Children’s Assessment Center and provided treatment to children and adults who were victims of sexual abuse, and I was a mental health consultant for Head Start for 12 years providing early childhood expertise to teachers, administrators and parents. In addition, I have spent 14 years training and supervising metal health professionals in Play Therapy.
