About Me
I am a Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist specializing in trauma, complex trauma, and adverse childhood experiences. I work primarily with adults who are struggling with the long-term impact of relational wounds, attachment injuries, emotional dysregulation, and identity-related difficulties. I am a Beck Institute Certified Clinician in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (BICBT-CC) and a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies (Dip.ACBT). My training is integrative and includes CBT, DBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, Ego State Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. I tailor treatment to each client’s unique history, needs, and goals, combining structured, evidence-based approaches with depth-oriented trauma work. My clinical focus includes complex PTSD, personality-related difficulties, emotional instability, survival guilt, shame, and trauma rooted in childhood adversity. I work from a trauma-informed framework that emphasizes safety, stabilization, meaning-making, and long-term integration. I hold two Master’s degrees in Psychology (Clinical and Educational Psychology) and I am currently a PhD Student. I am a member of the Lebanese Order of Psychologists and serve on the Committee of Specializations and Professional Pathways. In addition to my clinical work, I am the author of three books on mental health and the founder of Masarat Clinic, where I provide therapy in both Arabic and English. I offer sessions online and in person in Lebanon.
