Preferred Name: Paula
About Me
I enjoy connecting with clients and helping them reach their true potential in a supportive, calm, and non-judgmental environment. My goal is for clients to be comfortable so that I may assist them in moving forward from traumatic areas that affect their current life. I use a strength-based, trauma-informed and a holistic approach to therapy. I understand the importance of a client’s background and/or upbringing in therapy. I enjoy helping a person’s growth transition in therapy and I am grateful for the chance to be a part of that transition.
Education & Experience
I have extensive training in trauma and PTSD in adults and children. I am a certified trauma professional and a certified family trauma professional from the international association of trauma professionals. I continue evidence-based training through out the year to ensure I am up-to-date and well-rounded in my therapy approach. Additionally, I have training and experience working with Substance abuse issues, behavioral and/or mental health adolescents and children, Lesbian, Gay, Transgender, Veteran and first responders clients who are in need of therapeutic assistance.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
