About Me
Trauma is not just bad memories. It changes what living feels like. It can alter the fibers of our reality, affecting our sense of who we are, what seems possible, and what our body and mind anticipate to occur in any given moment.
Our memory does not just recall particular past events.
It shapes our identity and world.
Much of our feeling stuck, overtaken, or confused in life has to do with the fact that the present moment is never all that is present.
EMDR can help unearth the depths that are capable of both haunting and enchanting our lived experience.
I strive to use EMDR to help people not just repair their past but to come into more intimate contact with the full immensity of their experience from moment-to-moment in life. We don't just want to reduce our symptoms, we want to resurrect our ability to participate in beauty and to live life in a way that matters.
