**Racheal Rhoades is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), EMDR Therapist, and Certified Parent Educator** She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Cal State University, San Marcos and then her Master’s Degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at San Diego State University. Racheal is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Parent Educator. She brings over 20 years of counseling experience across a variety of treatment settings, such as private practice, day treatment, and community based services. She serves children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families in the following areas: -Addictive Behaviors and Substance Use Issues -Trauma -Chronic Illness -Self-Esteem -Parent/Child or Partner Relational Problems -Suicidal/ Self-Harm Behavior -Obsessions and Compulsions -Mood Disorders -Anxiety and Depressive Disorders - Emotional Abuse -Anger and Stress Management -Marriage and Family Therapy Racheal is eclectic and uses a blend of Cognitive Behavioral, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused, Reality Based, EMDR, and psycho-education. A holistic approach is utilized by exploring with and educating clients about how mind and body are interconnected. Her approach is to help individuals find hope, and be able to help discover and utilize individual strengths to help patients meet their personal goals.
