About Me
I am a trauma focused psychologist in Cambridge, MA, providing both in person and virtual therapy. Since beginning my work as an EMDR therapist, I have witnessed the powerful healing and transformation that can occur with EMDR therapy. I have seen clients who had struggled with triggers for years no longer get activated when those same buttons are pushed, and I have seen individuals achieve deep and lasting change. I have found that once earlier wounds are healed, clients are able to discover their inherent strengths, feel like a weight has been lifted, and can live with more ease and balance. My practice is client centered. As we work together, you will be in control. How we pace the therapy, what you share and when you share, every step of the way you will get a say in this. As a certified yoga teacher, I strongly believe in incorporating mindfulness and stress reduction techniques to trauma informed care. I also often incorporate ego state interventions, such as Internal Family Systems and Parts work into my practice. I offer EMDR therapy in both weekly and intensive formats. www.DrRachelFish.com
