About Me
I believe that everyone has the basic human rights to self-development which include the right to autonomy, self-care, and healthy relationships. I uphold this belief by listening actively to the goals of my client and assisting them to achieve their greatest potential for mental wellness through a combination of therapy, psychoeducation, advocacy, and expansion of natural supports in the community. I draw heavily from the fields of EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Trauma Informed Care in my work with clients. My therapeutic interests include work with survivors of trauma, Depression, Grief and Loss, PTSD, and work with Veterans.
Education & Experience
I have a Master's in Social Work from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. I received my EMDR training from EMDR Consulting.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
