About Me
Hello! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist currently practicing in Los Angeles. Originally from Chicago, I completed my Bachelor's in Film & Video. I worked in "the biz" for over ten years and it took me almost that long to figure out why I was so unhappy. It turned out I loved the idea of making movies but not the reality of the industry. So I enrolled in the Masters program in Clinical Psychology at Antioch University with a focus on Trauma and I never looked back. I have been practicing as a therapist since 2015 and I enjoy every day of it. Being a therapist means using my attunement skills, my empathic non-judgement and my very presence to help others. My favorite thing about being a therapist is the idea that I am never helping just one person, but all those in that person's life; I'm contributing to the community. Outside of session, I have kids, a dog and an unending passion for sci-fi and sarcasm. I am also a Consultant-In-Training working under Thasja Hoffmann. If you are a clinician seeking EMDRIA certification, I am honored if you consider me for your consultation.
