About Me

I am EMDR Certified, and use a variety of approaches to fit the needs of you as an individual. I have a profound respect for the ways we have gotten through difficulties, even if some of those ways aren't working for us anymore. My clinical focus is, broadly, trauma. This includes, but not limited to: childhood abuse/neglect, religious/spiritual trauma, medical trauma/chronic illness/pain, I have been a counselor in a domestic violence and sexual assault response agency, the group therapist in a Women’s Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient (PHP and IOP) Dual Diagnosis psychiatric program, and private practice. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I earned my A.A.S in American Sign Language Interpreting, my B.A. in Speech & Hearing Science, and my M.A. in Counseling at the Methodist Theological School in Ohio (MTSO). I am fluent in American Sign Language.
