About Me
I am a compassionate and client-centered therapist with eight years of experience working in both residential and community mental health settings since 2018. My work is rooted in supporting children, adolescents, and families, with a specialized focus on foster and adoptive care. I am trained in adoption competency (TAC) through the Center for Adoption Support and Education (C.A.S.E.), which informs my understanding of the unique experiences and needs within adoptive and foster family systems.
I have been providing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy since 2022 and received my EMDR certification in 2025. I integrate EMDR with trauma-informed and attachment-focused approaches to support clients in processing difficult experiences, strengthening relationships, and building a greater sense of safety and stability.
A central part of my work is supporting caregivers in feeling empowered and confident as they show up for their children’s mental health needs. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where both individuals and families can explore their experiences, develop insight, and move toward healing with greater resilience and connection.
