About Me
I am a warm, person-centered, and professional therapist dedicated to helping clients heal from trauma and move toward lasting change. I work with individuals who have experienced a wide range of traumatic events, and I have found EMDR to be a truly life-changing approach for many of my clients.
I strive to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered in their healing journey. My approach is collaborative and grounded in deep respect for each person’s unique story and strengths.
Education & Experience
I graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary with a Master’s degree in Counseling. I am a Level 1 Gottman-trained therapist and have advanced training in trauma-informed care. I am also trained in EMDR therapy.
Throughout my career, I have supported clients in both short-term and long-term therapeutic work, helping them build resilience, process distressing memories, and reconnect with their strengths. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with a compassionate, person-centered foundation, ensuring that each client’s treatment is tailored to their unique needs and goals.
I have experience working in college counseling settings, private practice, and behavioral therapy centers, where I served as a group therapy clinician. These diverse settings have strengthened my ability to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and at different stages of life.
