About Me
Hi, I’m glad you’re here. I’m an EMDR certified, licensed professional counselor who believes real growth starts with curiosity, compassion, and a little bit of courage. Therapy with me is more than just managing symptoms—it’s about building a life that feels balanced, resilient, and truly yours.
Throughout my life, I have had a desire to help others. So, at the ripe of age of 50 I went back to graduate school to pursue my life-long dream of becoming a counselor. My unique blend of life experience, contemporary education, and a passion for helping others allows me to deeply understand and guide clients toward meaningful change.
Here are some adjectives people use to describe me: caring, fun-loving, quirky, accepting, easy-to-talk-to, open-minded, compassionate, adventurous, warm, engaging, pleasant, tender-hearted, curious, empathetic. Clients often share that they “feel heard” and that “you get it.”
