About Me
Rita is passionate about working with children, and her dream is to help children succeed and achieve their goals. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, Foundational Theraplay® Practitioner, and an EMDR-certified therapist who practices in Natick, MA. She has provided effective behavioral therapy for kids by focusing on cognitive and emotional development.
Education & Experience
As a child therapist, she has a BA in Psychology, an MA in Pastoral Ministry, and an MA in Mental Health Counseling, all from Boston College. Before working in private practice, Rita was a Registered Play Therapist with Advocates Community Counseling in Marlborough, MA. Advocates is a trauma-informed agency whose mission is to help people achieve their hopes and dreams within the fabric of their communities through mental health counseling for children.
