Robert Griffin III, MA, LPC, NCC
Preferred Name: Robbie
About Me
Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona who has a wide range of clinical experience spanning across the country working with children, adolescents and adults alike. Having worked in residential, intensive outpatient, office and community-based settings, I have a history of serving those in the community providing group, individual, marriage and family therapy. While I am adept at incorporating many of the common therapies used today which help individuals manage their symptoms, I generally prefer employing modalities such as EMDR therapy and Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT) which help address the root causes of the dysfunction people are experiencing in their lives. I am certified in EMDR therapy and have received added training in Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT), structural dissociation theory, play therapy, sand tray therapy, substance abuse and behavioral addictions where I am able to provide these therapies to youth and adults both in-person and via telehealth. Additionally, I have undergone level 1 of Gottman training to work with couples. I possess extensive experience incorporating Image Transformation Therapy (ImTT), DBT, CBT, ERP (for OCD), IFS (Internal Family Systems), REBT, faith-based counseling practices and other modalities into my practice based on each individual's unique needs. I would be honored to assist you in finding the healing, growth and support you are looking for.
Education & Experience
I received my Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Franciscan University of Steubenville in 2017 and my Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Communications from Arizona State University in 2015.
