About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Doctor of Clinical Psychology with over 30 years of experience in social work and behavioral health. Since beginning my career in 1992, I have worked across child welfare, community mental health, geriatric services, and private practice settings supporting individuals and families impacted by trauma, stress, and life transitions.
I specialize in EMDR therapy and trauma-focused treatment for anxiety, depression, and PTSD. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with a compassionate, culturally responsive framework that helps clients process difficult experiences, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. I am committed to creating a safe and collaborative space where healing can occur at each client’s pace.
Education & Experience
decades of professional experience in social work beginning in 1992, with licensure obtained in 2013. Professional background includes direct clinical services with children, youth, adults, and families involved in child welfare systems; supervision of a state-funded Geriatric Case Management Program; Clinical Director roles; provision of clinical supervision to associates and trainees; grant writing and program development; and leadership as owner of a group psychotherapy practice.
Advanced training includes EMDR therapy and integration of CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and trauma-informed care approaches to support emotional regulation, adaptive processing, and recovery.
