I bring nearly a decade of dedicated experience in the human service field, with a focus of over 5 years on the treatment of trauma and addiction. My foundational knowledge stems from earning a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Temple University, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of social work principles and practices. As an EMDR-certified therapist, I have acquired specialized skills in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, a therapeutic approach renowned for its effectiveness in trauma resolution. My commitment to addressing addiction is underscored by my certification as a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), reflecting my expertise in substance use disorder treatment. Furthermore, I hold certification as a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), demonstrating my dedication to delivering trauma-informed care at the highest standard. Additionally, I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), further enriching my therapeutic toolkit to support individuals facing complex emotional challenges.
