About Me
Hello! I am a licensed professional counselor.I have extensive experience working with individuals facing trauma (including complex trauma), anxiety, depression, personality disorders, dissociative disorders, dissociative identity disorder (DID), and psychotic disorders. I am also committed to supporting LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and individuals with traumatic brain injuries (TBI), providing a safe and affirming space for healing and growth. I am originally from Iran and am bilingual. I provide therapy both in English and Farsi.
Education & Experience
I originally earned a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Washington in Seattle and spent several years working in drug development at one of the world’s largest biopharmaceutical companies. However, I found myself craving a more personal and direct connection in my work. This realization led me to pursue my true calling—helping others through therapy. While earning my counseling credentials, I also worked as a math instructor at UW-Madison.
