Dr. Roxana C Duren, Ed.D., LMHC
About Me
I was born and raised in Venezuela, where I developed a strong foundation in engineering. My educational journey later brought me to the United States, where I earned a Master of Arts in Guidance Counseling and a Doctor of Education in Counseling Psychology. I began my career serving adults at the in-patient level of care in Punta Gorda, Florida. Since then, I have continued to serve the mental health needs of individuals across Charlotte and Sarasota Counties with a deep sense of gratitude and purpose. As a bilingual counselor, I offer mental health services in both English and Spanish to support the diverse needs of our community, including Hispanic and Latino Americans. I embrace an open-minded and culturally sensitive approach, with a focus on helping adults navigate complex traumas and emotional challenges. My goal is to foster healing, resilience, and personal growth through compassionate, evidence-based care.
