I use a strength-based, client-driven approach, because I truly believe that each of us is the only one who knows what is most right for us.
Education & Experience
I have over 18 years of personal and professional experience in reducing and/or resolving PTSD and complex trauma due to unresolved childhood and adult violence. I stay current on the latest EMDR and Neurobiology research in order to better serve my clients. I also use an attachment based model, as the current research continues to link many mental health symptoms with attachment trauma. I am a very interactive and direct therapist. If you are truly ready for healing and change, I guarantee I can assist you on your path.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
Volunteering a percentage of my weekly free time is a lifelong value. In my free time, I enjoy horse back riding, hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, camping, and well, pretty much anything outdoors. I am also working on a book about healing trauma based reactive anger, rage, and attachment - stay tuned!
