EMDRIA Certified Therapist™

Online Therapy

About Me

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I provide a compassionate, supportive space where individuals can explore challenges, heal from past experiences, and create meaningful change. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and substance use concerns.
I am EMDR certified, specializing in helping clients process traumatic experiences, reduce emotional distress, and build healthier coping patterns. My approach is collaborative, nonjudgmental, and tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals. Whether you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply looking for support, therapy can be a place to reconnect with yourself and move toward healing.
In addition to trauma work, I have experience supporting individuals struggling with substance abuse and recovery-related issues. I understand the complex connection between mental health, trauma, and addiction, and I strive to help clients develop insight, resilience, and practical tools for lasting change.
My therapeutic style integrates evidence-based approaches including EMDR, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and person-centered techniques. I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe, heard, and empowered throughout the process.
Reaching out for help takes courage, and you do not have to navigate things alone. I welcome the opportunity to support you on your path toward healing and growth.

Education & Experience

I hold a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and am a National Certified Counselor (NCC), licensed in both Connecticut and Rhode Island. My clinical background includes experience across private practice, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), substance use treatment, trauma-informed care, homeless shelter programs, autism services, and work connected with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) and Department of Corrections.

Professional & Volunteer Affiliations

Outside of my clinical work, I am passionate about community involvement, personal growth, and ongoing professional development. I volunteer with a local dog rescue organization, which reflects my deep compassion for both people and animals and my belief in the healing power of connection and care. I am also a member of the EMDR International Association, Gesher Community Care, and the American Counseling Association, allowing me to stay connected to current research, education, and best practices within the counseling field. In my personal time, I actively compete in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, an experience that has strengthened my appreciation for resilience, discipline, mindfulness, and perseverance—values that also inform my therapeutic approach.
