About Me
In her book The Gifts of Imperfection, Bréné Brown says that "owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing that we will ever do". It is my privilege as a Psychotherapist to provide space and support as individuals dive into the stories of their lives and do the hard work of healing. For the past decade I have been focused on working with individuals pursuing healing from substance use, mental health, and trauma. Through this work I've developed a special interest in trauma treatment and recovery which led to my becoming trained in EMDR. My therapeutic technique also incorporates aspects of Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Internal-Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal theory, mindfulness-based, and attachment-based therapies.
