About Me
I take an integrative approach that is rooted in systems theory and incorporates attachment, developmental, and mind-body holistic frameworks. My focus is on collaborating with clients to develop their capacity to meet achievable goals. This can include frustration tolerance and emotional self-regulation, self-advocacy, resilience, communication strategies, and boundary setting. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques tailored to the needs of my clients. In addition to EMDR training, I am a Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) certified practitioner, and a Level 1 Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Guide (KMOG) which supports wilderness/ walk and talk therapy experiences. When appropriate, moving our sessions to a nature-based setting has the potential to nurture and elevate both processing experiences and traumas, as well as, developing of mindful tools.
