About Me
Hello there! I am a Board Certified and Licensed Mental Health Clinical Counselor/Therapist who is highly trained and experienced in evidence-based therapy modalities.
You may feel anxious, restless, on-edge, noticing that you are often over-thinking and second-guessing your day-to-day decisions. Maybe deep down, you feel different or not good enough to be prioritized or loved, worrying that something bad could happen to you or your loved ones, or that you will be left alone, rejected or betrayed. Sometimes this can show up as physical feelings rather than thoughts such a dreaded pit in your stomach, shaky limbs or nausea: a felt sense that something is wrong.
Your reactions didn't come out of nowhere, trust me. I completely understand and I want you to know that you don’t have to carry these burdens alone. Therapy can help you to face your days with a sense of internal peace and confidence and learn new ways of relating to the world, others and yourself that work for you instead of against you.
I am also a self-proclaimed "empath", married with two children and a blind rescue mixed-breed pup and love the beach, hikes, good food and restaurants with good/cozy vibes (the lighting matters)!
Education & Experience
I earned a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling Psychology in 2011 and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2008.
My areas of expertise include helping women and teen girls who are struggling with Anxiety and Trauma related distress (from childhood or adulthood).
I have been practicing professional counseling/therapy full-time in many settings including outpatient/office-based, school-based, and in-home since 2010. I have fifteen years of experience in this great profession and I love it more and more each day!
I am honored to witness our current and past clients achieve lasting transformation with a holistic multi-modal approach
CHANGE is possible.
