Trouble connecting with others and feeling secure? Recognizing that childhood stuff is leaking into adult life? Knowing you've got some unresolved trauma you want to work through? These are some of the issues I target most frequently with EMDR. I began using EMDR in practice in 2018 and since that time, it has become an integral part of my work. I recognize that many of our issues as adults stem from issues from our younger years that got stuck along the way and continue to bring the past into the present, with our thoughts, emotions, body sensations, and behaviors. We will work together get those concerns unstuck and to help you move through the old patterns that are no longer helpful, into ones that help you feel stronger, more confident, and whole. We will work together to put those issues from the past, firmly in the past, so you can focus on the here and now. I also enjoy utilizing play and creative strategies, as a Registered Play Therapist. Play is not just for kids and as adults, we often forget to add it into our lives.
