About Me

Accepting Referrals- I have over 25 years of experience in the field of Substance Abuse and Mental Health counseling doing both group and individual work. I incorporate EMDR, DBT, CBT, MET, Reiki in my practice using a Mind, Body, Spirit approach to healing. I am exciting to offer these services in an outpatient setting specializing in helping people heal from trauma. EMDR techniques produce results in a relatively short period of time without it being necessary for you to go into great detail about what your experience was. I have conducted over 300 sessions since completing EMDR basic training in April 2023, and I witness the amazing changes that take place as a result of this therapeutic intervention. It is not possible to change the experiences we have had, but we can change how we feel about ourselves in connection to whatever the event was. EMDR helps get rid of flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, nightmares related to disturbing things that have taken place. If you have been struggling with Overwhelming Stress, Anxiety, Anger, Complicated Grief, or PTSD this therapeutic approach may benefit you.
