About Me

Sayaka Ashe is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC) licensed in the State of Washington. Sayaka is also licensed in the State of Arizona, Texas, and Florida (telehealth only). She is an EMDRIA approved EMDR certified therapist, and Consultant in training (CIT). She was born and raised in Japan, and spent early adulthood working for a Japanese company in Japan. She moved to the United State in 2006 to pursue her career. She earned her Master degree in Clinical Psychology in 2012. Her professional experience includes community mental health clinic, State psychiatric hospital, and private practice. Currently, she works for Headspace Health, tele mental health organization, as a therapist. She is a part of the EMDR provider team in the organization. She also enjoys teaching yoga to share mindfulness skills in the local community. In the clinical setting, Sayaka uses her multicultural background to provide different perspectives and different points of views in order to help and support others.
