Mrs. Sehrish Haroon, MC, RP, CCC

Preferred Name: Sehrish
About Me
I specialize in treating complex trauma, dissociation, and personality disorders. I enjoy providing consultations for other therapists that are using EMDR, along with Structural Dissociation Theory and IFS. I use a flexible and integrative approach to getting clients [and consultants] to maximize the use of EMDR and benefit from its capacity to heal trauma. If you're looking to safely use EMDR with complex clients or if you're wanting to jumpstart trauma work when stuck, then I would love to work with you. I truly believe that the most important tool that we have in therapy is our relationship. I work hard at trying to understand clients' and consultees' style and provide interventions that match their needs and preferences.
Education & Experience
I hold a Masters in Counselling from the University of Calgary and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association and an EMDR Certified Therapist with EMDR International Association. I am also a certified IFS therapist by the IFS institute. I am extensively trained in Structural Theory of Dissociation [Kathy Steele and Kathy Martin], IFS [Level 1 and 2], IFS informed EMDR, DBT [intensive], and Deep Brain reorientation.
