About Me

I believe therapy should be a transparent, collaborative experience that helps you better understand yourself. I view our relationship as an important aspect of your growth so you can expect me to be interactive, curious, supportive, and authentic. I use humor at times and love to share resources I think you'll find helpful. I'll do more than nod my head and agree with you and I won't hold back observations that would be helpful to your progress. We'll look at what's not working for you and find the patterns that keep you stuck. I'm trained in EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) and EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing), two modalities that are rooted in attachment and neurobiology. This is a fancy way of saying we are all biologically wired to adapt and change within the context of our environment, all we need is a safe and supportive environment to do so.
