About Me
With more than 12 years of counseling experience, I have helped women who are struggling with anxiety, depression, attachment, and trauma to stop feeling stuck in their lives and relationships and help them to live a more confident, authentic, and fulfilling life. I believe that you have the innate ability to work towards your greatest potential. My role as a counselor is to help you find solutions that align with your dreams and to build trust and confidence in yourself. I will encourage and support you to explore the resources, answers, and strengths within to develop the goals and solutions that work best for you. I provide a warm, safe, and non-judgmental environment that encourages personal growth.
Education & Experience
I have a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counselor Education and Supervision. I am Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida, and am board certified as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCHMC). I also teach and supervise counseling graduate students and serve as a Qualified Supervisor (QS) for mental health counselors seeking licensure in Florida. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am in the process of becoming a Certified EMDR specialist and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional.
