About Me
My path to becoming a therapist started in 2000 following the loss of my first wife and my realization of the absolute importance of mental and emotional wellness. During my career I have helped those struggling with addiction, trauma, sexual addiction, pedophilia, hebephilia and paraphilias. I am trained in trauma-specific techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization (EMDR,) Motivational Interviewing, guided meditations/visualizations, and other person-centered techniques. I strive to help you find the strength and resources needed to overcome your struggles.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master's Degree in Education Counseling from Portland State University (2007) and have worked with children, adolescents and adults.
