Dr. Sheila Baez, PhD, LPC
About Me
My therapy approach centers on creating a safe, supportive space where you can openly explore your experiences and emotions. Using EMDR therapy, I help process past traumas, manage anxiety, and build resilience. Understanding the mind-body connection, I use evidence-based techniques tailored to your unique needs. Whether facing life transitions or seeking relief from overwhelming emotions, I’m here to support you. I believe in empowering clients to discover their inner strengths. Together, we'll work towards healing, growth, and a renewed sense of well-being. Why I became a therapist... I have always been passionate about understanding myself and others. As a midwife apprentice, I learned the power of listening, empathy, and healing from trauma. This inspired me to pursue a path where I could continue helping those impacted by trauma. In my spare time... I enjoy binge watching shows, any serial killer documentaries, spending time in nature, and hanging out with my family and King Charles Cavalier.
