About Me

Hello! My name is Shelby Quilling (she/her) and as a therapist, my approach is to work closely with my clients, empowering them as much possible. In my personal life and professional life, I identify as a very genuine and nurturing person. I feel most passionate about creating healthy attachment and this is displayed through my practice with clients and at home with myself and my family. Those who come to my office might use words such as soft, non-judgmental, accepting, safe and positive when describing my person. I do my best to bring a positive spin to things, utilizing humor and fun when needed. Therapy and consultation to me is all about the relationship that you build to create the space for someone to truly grow into the person/professional they want to become while providing guidance and support. I feel honored to serve as a guide in my client's healing journey. I primarily work with children and teens as well as those who have experienced childhood or complex trauma. In my personal life, I have a wonderful family who I spend almost all of my free time with. My family is everything to me which includes my children, pets (and of course my husband!). We live in the country and looking at the wildlife brings me joy, as well as being outdoors. Reading, relaxing, and self-care is also important to me. I always make sure to be taking care of myself so I am the best I can be for my family and those I work with.
