About Me
I am Licensed as a Professional Counselor and Substance Use Disorder Professional in Oregon and Washington. My approach is client-centered and trauma-informed. I enjoy meeting people right where they are and partnering with them toward their specific values for growth and development.
Education & Experience
I obtained my Master of Arts in counseling from Western seminary. Course work included: Individual, group and family counseling, spiritual formation, lifespan development, assessment, personality theories and models of addiction treatment. I have specialized training and Motivational Interviewing, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Emotional Freedom Techniques and other mindfulness-based approaches. I have worked in a variety of clinical settings, including Community Mental Health, healthcare settings and private practice.
