About Me

I’m a South Asian therapist who is deeply passionate about supporting South Asian and BIPOC individuals as they navigate mental health within the context of culture, family, and identity. I understand firsthand how cultural beliefs, unspoken expectations, and intergenerational experiences can shape the way we relate to ourselves, our emotions, and our worth.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck between worlds—balancing their own needs with family expectations, managing guilt or shame, or feeling pressure to “hold it all together.” You may have been taught to suppress your emotions, prioritize others, or push through pain without support. Therapy can be a space where those patterns are gently explored, understood, and unlearned.
My approach to therapy is holistic and integrative. I draw from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). This allows me to tailor our work to your unique needs—whether we’re building coping skills, processing past experiences, understanding different parts of yourself, or working through deeper emotional wounds.
I believe healing is not just about managing symptoms—it’s about reconnecting with yourself in a way that feels authentic, empowered, and aligned. Together, we create a space where you can show up fully, without judgment, and begin to build a life that feels like your own.
