About Me
My practice involves treatment for adults and youth using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and EMDR with mindfulness-based techniques that employ body and mind approach based on each client's specific needs. The counseling process is a journey to gain awareness, to restore sufficient inner strengths, and to heal the pains, enabling one to make desired changes for life. I am fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese.
Education & Experience
Education: Two masters degress in Social Work and Education at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, graduated in 2003. Clinical training and experience: CBT, DBT, EMDR, play therapy, art therapy, anxiety and depression, stress/pain management, trauma, grief and loss, crisis intervention, international student's and immigrant's life transition adaptation issues, selective mutism, attention difficulty, child behavioral challenges, parent-child relationships.
