About Me

My name is Irena Stjepic, and you can call me “E.” I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Tennessee and Arizona. I am an EMDR-certified clinician through EMDRIA and an EMDRIA Approved Consultant. I have 17 years of clinical experience and have played several roles within the behavioral health field, including outpatient psychiatric treatment as Director of Clinical Services and as a subject matter expert for one of the largest HMOs. I specialize in Somatic Attachment-Focused EMDR, and I believe this unique approach is one of the most effective for healing from trauma. This is a body-mind approach to helping you heal from P.T.S.D. and relational and developmental trauma. This approach reveals the foundation and attachment patterns to heal trauma. My treatment focuses on PTSD, trauma, adult survivors of childhood trauma (sexual, physical, emotional, neglect, abandonment), and individuals who suffer from mild to severe anxiety and mood disorders. I have seen firsthand how EMDR removes shame, terror, hopelessness, helplessness, powerlessness, and guilt. It has been very comforting to be a part of the healing process for my clients. It is possible to achieve relief and peace. As a therapist, I focus on creating a warm and safe space while building resources to help my clients continue their healing journey. I am licensed in the states of Tennessee and Arizona. Offering both in-person and online telehealth to clients in TN. Telehealth only in AZ.
