About Me

Stacey Lance, MS, LMFT, LSW, is a compassionate clinician in Reno, NV, providing trauma‑informed care, EMDR consultation, and EMDR Intensives through her private practice. As an EMDRIA Approved Consultant, she offers EMDR Intensives as an adjunct to ongoing therapy and specializes in treating complex trauma, including childhood abuse (sexual, physical, or emotional), sexual assault, intimate partner violence, birth or medical trauma, test or performance anxiety, recent traumatic events (such as a car accident), and secondary traumatic stress.
EMDR Intensives are extended EMDR therapy sessions delivered over a condensed period. They can also be provided as adjunct therapy to enhance—rather than replace—the work you are already doing with your primary therapist. With your permission, collaborative communication occurs to ensure continuity of care.
With more than 25 years of experience serving children and families in the community—and 5 years as a licensed MFT providing EMDR—Stacey integrates EMDR, neuroscience, attachment theory, TF‑CBT, mindfulness, guided imagery, and expressive arts into her holistic approach. In addition to her private practice, she continues to serve the community through her work in human services.

Education & Experience

Stacey earned a bachelor’s degree in social work, with a minor in psychology, from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2002, and a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy from the University of Phoenix in 2019. She has worked in human services, in a variety of roles, for the past 25 years.
