About Me

Stefan is a certified EMDR therapist and EMDRIA-approved consultant who integrates multiple modalities including EMDR, clinical hypnotherapy, somatic practices, and parts therapy. His approach addresses physical, mental, emotional, and social/relational dimensions of trauma and well-being.
Stefan's professional background includes work as a school social worker, psychotherapist, and clinician in community mental health settings serving children and families. In 2019, he founded Transforward to create a space where people could explore authenticity and healing. The practice accepts private insurance and Medicaid.
Stefan has taught and presented at Yale University's Department of Psychiatry, legal settings, and community organizations. He provides both clinical services, consultation and forensic social work all with a holistic understanding.
