About Me

I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. I feel drawn to working with clients who struggle with patterns of overthinking, perfectionism, and low self-esteem. These struggles can often lead to overwhelming emotions, panic attacks, and difficulty expressing and understanding one’s needs. Through the use of both my clinical skills and my caring nature, I strive to empower clients to nurture and develop their own sense of self-compassion and self-acceptance. I describe my therapeutic style as compassionate, nurturing, and authentic and I enjoy using humor, metaphors, and visuals to help individuals apply therapeutic concepts to their lives in a way that makes sense to them. Using a strength-based approach, I strive to tailor my counseling services to each person's specific and individual needs, guiding indivivduals towards increased inner peace and understanding in both the physical and emotional aspects of their experiences.

Education & Experience

I received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University and have been working with adults as well as children, adolescents and their families since 2010. I identify on the LGBTQ+ spectrum and am passionate about working with this population. I have a particular interest in working with individuals struggling with anxiety and/or trauma symptoms, as well as those who are socioeconomically diverse, neurodiverse, the BIPOC community, and the immigrant community. I also affirm ethical non-monogamy and other non-normative sexual lifestyles and gender identity-based subcultures. I take a multi-disciplinary approach to her therapeutic work. My practices incorporate techniques from cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, mindfulness, meditation, and trauma-informed interventions. I completed EMDR basic training in November 2022 and will soon be applying for certification. I am informed in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and the Polyvagal Theory.
