Education & Experience

BSW, Michigan State University; MSW University of Kansas; Certified in EMDR Therapy. I have professional experience in the areas of child welfare, medical social work, hospice social work, and psychotherapy. I originated an award winning counseling program for a hospice offering therapy for trauma, complicated grief, medical/mental health issues, aftermath of suicide, caregiver stress, and older adult issues. I briefly retired but have resumed practicing in order to help people struggling with the grief, trauma and other issues engendered by the pandemic and our current social stressors.
