About Me
I am an EMDR-trained therapist offering online, depth-oriented therapy for adults seeking focused work around recurring emotional patterns, complex trauma, chronic stress, and identity-related challenges. Many clients come to therapy wanting to move beyond coping strategies toward meaningful, roots-focused change.
My approach integrates EMDR with advanced trainings in IFS-informed EMDR, EMDR for neurodivergent populations, and EMDR for the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. I am also currently training in Coherence Therapy, a memory reconsolidation-based approach that complements EMDR by transforming the underlying core beliefs that shape how we relate to ourselves and others.
I work especially well with adults impacted by CPTSD or long-term stress, including expats and internationally mobile clients navigating questions of identity, belonging, and self-worth.
Education & Experience
I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Columbia University School of Social Work. My early work in mental health included supporting individuals navigating addiction, adults with developmental disabilities, and Spanish-speaking asylum-seeking youth — experiences that shaped my commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
During graduate training, I worked within an immigration practice at a public defenders office and served as a research assistant in a social justice lab. Following graduation, I worked in an outpatient group practice providing therapy to adults before transitioning into private practice to focus on depth-oriented, trauma-focused therapy.
I also hold a 200-hour yoga teacher certification, which informs my somatic approach to therapeutic work.
Professional & Volunteer Affiliations
I am actively involved with the Coherence Psychology Institute, where I serve as a volunteer newsletter editor and work as a session rater in an ongoing research study on the therapeutic memory reconsolidation process.
