About Me
I was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania. After making the move west with my husband, we settled in Billings, Montana which we now call home. I own my own private practice here Billings, MT, meeting with a variety of adults, couples and families. I am a Montana State Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I am a Clinical Fellow with the American Association for Marriage & Family Therapy (AAMFT), a certified counselor with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC), and a member of EMDR International Association (EMDRIA).
Education & Experience
I earned my Bachelor of Science from Mercyhurst University (Erie, PA) in Marriage and Family Studies (2006) and my Master of Science from Virginia Tech (Falls Church, VA) in Marriage & Family Therapy (2009). My counseling experience includes day treatment, residential, community based programs and outpatient clinics. Through the range of settings, I have provided individual, group, family and couples therapy. After graduating and gaining valuable experience I have continued to receive additional training in: Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR Consulting); Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Beck Institute); Sensory Motor Arousal Regulation Treatment (SMARTmoves); Attachment, Regulation, Competency (ARC Framework); Gottman Method (Gottman Institute); and Emotion Focused Therapy (Dr. Sue Johnson).
