About Me
I specialize in helping high-achieving clients break free from the cycle of self-criticism and perfectionism. By targeting the neurological roots of these patterns, I support clients in broadening their sense of self and cultivating lasting self-compassion. I integrate EMDR with somatic modalities to transform past adversity into meaningful personal development, helping you calm your nervous system and reclaim a sense of presence and vitality. Within an empathetic, non-judgmental partnership, our strong therapeutic rapport serves as the foundation for post-traumatic growth and enduring change.
Education & Experience
I have nearly 20 years of experience guiding people through the chapters that shape their lives. In the mental health field, I have worked in a variety of settings including community mental health, family medicine, and college counseling centers. I earned a Master's and Doctorate degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver’s College of Education. My dissertation focused on the process of self-forgiveness in therapy and I have numerous certifications in evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
