About Me
I value the connections I make with clients through my work. I use EMDR with most of my clients because I find it so very effective. I am also a gardener, mother, and dog owner. I use dogs in my practice, when in person, to help with therapy. I believe our connections to the natural world can be helpful in gaining perspective on our lives and issues. We can connect through animals, plants, the environment, etc.
Education & Experience
I have a Master's degree in Applied Behavioral Science from the LIOS Program at Bastyr University. I was trained in EMDR in 2001 and also became Certified in EMDR. I have worked with clients on individual trauma experiences as well as cultural/social traumas which impede their progress towards living the life they want. I have been in private practice since 1999.
