About Me
As a dually licensed professional counselor and clinical addiction specialist, I have been in practice for over twenty five years. My strengths include providing warmth, compassion and connection. I have worked with a wide range of adolescent and adult challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, psychosis and substance abuse. I strive to meet individuals where they are and work with them to achieve their goals whatever they may be. I provide a comfortable, non-judgmental space for individuals to open up and be themselves offering partnership in examining challenges and seeking solutions. I join with others to empower them to be their best selves. Change is often difficult. To achieve meaningful and life changing results, it can mean moving beyond usual routines and comfort zones. If you are hurting or not satisfied with aspects of your life, I would love the opportunity to join with you so together we can be the catalyst for change and new possibilities.
Education & Experience
I completed a Bachelor's Degree at Virginia Tech and Master's Degree at Clemson University. I have been licensed since 2008. I started my career doing community/agency work and have been in private practice for the past 5 years.
